You never danced (Salsa) before? But you fancy sparking a Cuban fire inside yourself within just one weekend? If so UNiDANZA’s Beginners’ Bootcamp ist just the right thing. In only eight hours our international crew of instructors will convey the basics and some simple but exciting figures and moves around Cuban Salsa. Since the consecutive modules within the Bootcamp base on each other it is required to take all classes on both days.
The Bootcamp was created for people without any dance experience at all but also will provide good learnings for anyone who already danced a bit Salsa before.
We’d love to welcome all participants of the Bootcamp also on the parties of the festival. Dive into the awesome Cuban atmosphere already on Friday night and show your newly gained skills on Saturday and Sunday night’s dance floor. The parties are included in the Bootcamp pass.
Among others those steps and figures are on the Bootcamp’s curriculum: Salsa Casino basic steps, enchufla, turn variations for ladies/gents (aspirina/vuelta), dile que no, guapea, vacilala and other basic moves and first combinations (e.g. setenta).
You will receive your festival’s wrist band at any time during the weekend at our check-in/info desk. In case you don’t want to join the Friday night party please be at the info desk about half an hour prior to the first workshop on Saturday morning. You’ll also get all other relevant information right there or you’ll find it in the festival guide.
