The Afro Cuban dance festival in Hamburg
UNiDANZA is the Afro Cuban dance festival in Hamburg. Every February, dancers from all over Europe come together in the north of Germany for a weekend full of Cuban music, dance and good vibes. In short: three days of Cuban dance in one of Europe’s most exciting cities. UNiDANZA 2027 takes place from 12 to 14 February 2027, so save the date!
Workshops, bootcamps and parties
During the day, you learn from Cuban and international instructors in workshops for every level. For example, you can start with your very first steps or work on advanced technique. In particular, the focus is on Cuban salsa (casino), rueda de casino, son, timba, rumba and Afro-Cuban dances. Beginners are welcome, and experienced dancers also find plenty of new input. Best of all, the Full Pass gives you access to all regular workshops and all parties.
Want to go deeper? Then join one of our bootcamps: intensive courses in one dance style, with a routine you can show at one of the festival parties. After the workshops, the parties begin. Expect Cuban music, great DJs and a full dance floor until late at night. In other words: come for the classes, stay for the parties! Finally, the festival program shows you how the whole weekend works.
Dance, connect, celebrate
UNiDANZA is more than classes, because it is also a weekend to meet dancers from many countries, make new friends and discover Hamburg.
